"Where there was, there was..." Montblanc Writers Homage to Brothers Grimm edition is dedicated to Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm and celebrates their work on German and European folk tales, including some of the most famous fairy tales such as "Snow White", "Cinderella" and "Sleeping Beauty". The overall silhouette of the writing instrument is shaped like an old hiking stick and the black color recalls the darkness of the forest, which usually serves as the main setting for the stories of the Brothers Grimm. In addition, the wavy pattern on the cap and barrel is inspired by Rapunzel's hair and at the same time recalls roots, as the Brothers Grimm saw their linguistic work as "root research". The cap is crowned with the Montblanc emblem made of precious resin. The platinum-plated clip, reminiscent of a gnarled piece of wood, surprisingly reveals the profile silhouette of the Brothers Grimm when turned.

I bought Montblanc Writers Edition Homage to Brothers Grimm Limited Edition Roller pen from Exclusive Pens. The pen came very late. After all this wait, the pen did NOT work. It was 100% dry ink and did NOT write. The company promised to replace the cartridge, still waiting for this to happen. I think the pen was very old and was in storage for years. The pen color itself was pale and did NOT look nice. Very disappointed to delivery time and quality of the product.
