Montblanc Muses Maria Callas special edition is dedicated to one of the most charismatic sopranos of the 20th century and a recognized style icon. With her talent, passion and personality, she embodied a certain ideal of the opera diva. In some of the world's greatest opera houses, from Milan's La Scala to Paris Opera to New York's Metropolitan Opera, she was known as "La Divina" - the divine. The edition highlights one of her favorite colors, turquoise, in the noble resin of the cap and barrel, while reflecting the graceful beauty of Maria Callas in her slender, elegant silhouette. In memory of her Greek homeland surrounded by the sea, the platinum-plated clasp is decorated with a synthetic stone whose color recalls the vibrant turquoise blue of the Aegean Sea. A costume detail from one of her recognizable bel canto roles, Bellini's "Norma", is reflected in the laurel leaf pattern surrounding the platinum-plated cone of the edition, along with the famous soprano's embossed signature. The handmade Au 585 solid gold nib with a rhodium finish is embossed with the kohl contours of the cat's eyes, so typical of her likeness, as well as the name that is inextricably linked to Maria Callas: "La Divina".
