To celebrate the centenary of the Meisterstück in 2024, Montblanc pays tribute to the origins of the iconic writing instrument in a collection inspired by the spirit of the Chamonix 1924 Olympic Games. The year 1924 is a lucky one for the brand, as it was the same year, at the first Olympic Games in Chamonix, that the writing instrument that would become one of its most sought-after masterpieces was launched. Mont Blanc. Both Montblanc and the Chamonix 1924 Olympic Games embody at their core, with master craftsmen and sporting heroes, the pursuit of the ultimate human achievement. The Classique edition, made of precious resin with a blue-grey tone – reminiscent of the official colour chosen for the Winter Games – features a handmade solid Au585/14k gold nib decorated with a ski jumping hill – a nod to the old Olympic poster of that year. The Olympic rings are part of the Olympic heritage logo engraved on the top ring of the cap, with a surrounding wreath of leaves reminiscent of those presented as the highest award to winners at the ancient Olympic Games. The cap itself is engraved with the words “Olympic Games Chamonix 1924” in a frame inspired by the cover of the official report of the Games. The anniversary cap ring features the inscriptions “1924” and “2024”, symbolising the importance of both years. The edition is crowned by the Montblanc emblem on the top of the cap, cast in a precious coral resin, the signature color Montblanc .
