The original designs were drawn by Riki Nakamachi, one of the most eminent japanese-style artist and one of the judges of japanese Fine Art Exhibition. The artisans of the Kokkokai make every effort to depict the excellence of Nakamachi´s designs on every using maki-e technique. The graceful Togidashi maki-e designs on every pen will enchant everyone who picks up the pen. A pen from the Namiki Maki-e Zodiac makes the perfect commemorative gift for retirement, birthdays and other important milestones in life. It can also be an impressive souvenir.
