The ability to display a second time zone in addition to the current time, also known as the GMT function, has become one of the most popular additional features of mechanical wristwatches in recent years. Therefore, it was a logical step to equip its successful Ternos Professional line with this sought-after feature.

The Ternos Professional watch from DAVOSA is a true professional, equipped to effortlessly accompany every diver into the depths and transform into a real eye-catcher upon precise surfacing.

In the GMT version, the 24-hour display, which is a characteristic feature of the second time zone, is prominently displayed on the rotating diving bezel, giving the Ternos watch its characteristic sporty yet functional look. The colored bezel insert is made of high-tech ceramic and is extremely scratch-resistant with a hardness of 1250 HV. It is also heat- and corrosion-resistant and provides a soft feel thanks to its high-gloss shine. The production of these ceramic bezels is very complex; great expertise is required to produce the different colors in consistent quality and color brilliance. DAVOSA has so far offered the Ternos Professional GMT in a solid black version and in a combination with brilliant blue, but fans of the brand have requested additional options. After more than 12 months of development, DAVOSA has now succeeded in producing a deep red high-tech ceramic that contrasts brilliantly with black or dark blue, while forming a permanent whole with the dark shades. The 24-hour display scale, which consists of a triangle, Arabic numerals and dots, is then engraved into the bezel with a high-precision laser and then filled with a contrasting color. This creates two new variants of the Ternos Professional GMT TT in red-blue and red-black. At DAVOSA the suffix TT stands for "two-tone".
