To celebrate the centenary of the Meisterstück in 2024, Montblanc is paying tribute to the origins of this iconic writing instrument with a collection inspired by the spirit of the 1924 Paris Olympic Games. Coincidentally, 1924 was the year the brand launched the writing instrument that would become one of its most sought-after masterpieces, and the same year that the Summer Olympic Games were held in Paris. Montblanc and the 1924 Paris Olympic Games essentially embody, along with master craftsmen and sporting heroes, the pursuit of the ultimate human achievement. This special edition is made of noble resin with a warm shade of red - the official red of the 1924 Paris Games. The Olympic rings are part of the Olympic heritage logo engraved on the top ring of the cap with a surrounding wreath of leaves, reminiscent of those awarded as the highest honors to winners in the ancient Olympic Games. The anniversary ring of the cap features the inscriptions "1924" and "2024", symbolizing the significance of both years. The edition is crowned by the Montblanc emblem on the top of the cap, cast in precious coral resin, the characteristic color of the Montblanc brand.
