Montblanc Writers Homage to Brothers Grimm edition is dedicated to Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm and celebrates their work on German and European folk tales, including some of the most famous fairy tales, such as “Snow White,” “Cinderella,” and “Sleeping Beauty.” The overall silhouette of the writing instrument is shaped like an old hiking stick, while the black color evokes the darkness of the forest, which usually serves as the main setting for the Brothers Grimm’s folklore. In addition, the wavy pattern on the cap and barrel is inspired by Rapunzel’s hair and also evokes roots, as the Brothers Grimm considered their linguistic work to be “root research.” The cap is crowned with the Montblanc emblem made of precious resin. The platinum-plated clip, resembling a gnarled piece of wood, surprisingly reveals the profile silhouette of the Brothers Grimm when turned.
