It has a handy magnetic closure that you operate one-handed, a side zipper that unfolds the entire backpack without the need for a long rummage in search of one sunken box. There is also a pocket for a 16'' laptop, plenty of internal pockets for valuables and essentials, adjustable shoulder straps, padded back and a hidden bottle pocket (for water, but also for something sharper).
