The original designs were drawn by Riki Nakamachi - one of Japan's most prominent artists and also a judge of the Japanese "Fine Art Exhibition". Using the maki-e technique, the craftsmen at Kokkokai have made great efforts to depict Nakamachi's excellent design. This graceful design will enchant anyone who picks up this pen.
